Hi there! I'm Blessing Anagu

I'm a software developer with ~ 2 years of experience, and a Computer Science undergraduate.

I got into software development because I enjoy building things that mean something, not just code for the sake of it, but software that solves real problems. A lot of what I create starts from personal "itches", small frustrations in my day-to-day life that I'd rather automate or make easier. I enjoy turning those "this could be better" moments into systems that actually work.

I'm especially drawn to backend development. I like being the behind-the-scenes person, building the logic, structure, and reliability that everything else depends on. I also enjoy studying system design and figuring out how to turn those ideas into real, working systems. Quietly making things work, scale, and not break is my kind of fun.

Outside of code, I'm a book lover (the smell of books is undefeated), a chocolate enthusiast, and someone who finds unexpected joy in zoos, there's something about animals that makes me slow down and feel a bit more connected.
